Michael Boer was born and raised in the southern suburbs of Chicago. He earned a B.A from Blackburn College with a double major in economics and sociology and attended graduate school at Northern Illinois University.
During his 34-year career he has successfully advised and assisted thousands of businesses, non-profit organizations, local governments, and individuals on realizing their development objectives. Prior to joining the Center he served 20 years as CEO of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce and 12 in economic development organizations in Southern Illinois.
Jill grew up in rural Franklin, Illinois, between Jacksonville and Springfield. She graduated from Illinois College in 1996 with a degree in Business Administration. She has worked in various capacities in banking. She was employed by First of America Bank (presently National City) for three years and has since been employed with Warren-Boynton State Bank. During her most recent six out of nine years at Warren-Boynton State Bank she has been a Loan Officer/ Vice President, specializing in residential and consumer lending.
Greg has been in banking for over 20 years in the Springfield market area, with his primary focus being commercial/business lending. He is a graduate of New Berlin High School, Lincoln Land Community College, and he earned a finance degree from Eastern Illinois University. He is also a graduate of the National Commercial Lending Graduate School in Norman, Oklahoma. Greg currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Youth Service Bureau, a local not-for-profit agency.
